Description
The South Australian Games Association and Game Plus are partnering to present Playback on Wednesday the 30th of September, 5:30pm.
At every Playback we have presentations or spotlight local developers. This month, Joshua Cartledge and Samuel Hudman from Wayward Skies Studio will be presenting an analysis of their game "Mimicry!" and its performance on Steam, giving detailed insights into the statistics behind the studio's first release, alongside how they approached marketing. They will discuss taking a student team's dream of making a game and how they turned it into a fully published game on Steam.
Before, after and in-between presentations everyone attending is invited to bring many of their own hardware and projects that they are working on to share with the local development community. Examples are, but not limited to: video games, tabletop board games, rpgs, prototypes and showreels!
We will have desks and power points available for your equipment. Light catering provided by Game Plus.
The door code for entry to Game Plus will be emailed to attendees before the event begins.
Have a topic you're passionate about? We are accepting Expression of Interests for anyone wanting to present a Micro Talk at future Playback events. Or you can contact us via humanitix, or Jackson Michael and Jamie on the AGD discord.
