This hands-on class is designed for riders who want to go beyond the basics and learn how to keep their bike running smoothly with more in-depth maintenance techniques. Guided by professional mechanics, you’ll learn how to:

Maintain, adjust and replace brake pads and cables
Clean, lubricate and replace your bike chain
Adjust gears for better shifting and performance
Fix a puncture and replace tubes and tyres
Perform thorough safety checks before every ride
Understand key bike parts, tools and terminology.

This course is designed for participants aged 12 and over (under 18's must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

A light afternoon tea will be provided

What to bring?

Your bicycle (street-legal e-bikes are welcome) and helmet.
