Learn basic bike maintenance with Yellow Bike Project volunteer mechanics. We will go over maintaining tires, tubes, brakes, cables, bearings, and drivetrains to help ensure safe and pleasant rides. Please note that this is not a repair class. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bikes, but we will not have time to repair them. No bike repair experience is necessary, but diligence, patience and an ability to work independently with minimal instruction is highly recommended.

The classes take place at our location on 1216 Webberville Road on the last Sunday of each month.

This and all Yellow Bike’s classes are free for the City of Austin employees.
