Bike maintenance workshop- Beginners
Turner Scout Hall
Turner ACT, Australia
Description
Bikes are fairly simple machines and you can do a lot of maintenance yourself if you’d like. Pedal Power’s bike maintenance courses will give you the skills you need to conduct repairs yourself, whether at home or when you’re out on a ride. Pedal Power offers three levels of courses – bike basics, beginner, and intermediate. This allows you to take a path to develop your maintenance skills.
This beginner course is a perfect follow-on from our bike basics course, and will cover gears, brakes, and more advanced skills around tyres and punctures.
We will cover:
- Brief summary of bike basics course.
- Repairing flat tyres
- Gears and tuning
- Tyres and brakes, including the set up of different brake systems.
- Tubeless setups.
What to bring: your bike, some snacks, a readiness to learn!
