Bike maintenance workshop - Intermediates
Turner Scout Hall
Turner ACT, Australia
Description
Bikes are fairly simple machines and you can do a lot of maintenance yourself if you’d like. Pedal Power’s bike maintenance courses will give you the skills to conduct repairs yourself, whether you're at home or out on a ride. Pedal Power offers three levels of courses – bike basics, beginner, and intermediate. This allows you to take a path to develop your maintenance skills.
This intermediate course is our most advanced offering, and will give you the full skills you need to maintain every part of your bike. We will cover:
- Different bike setups, geometry and fit
- Replacing various parts, such as stems
- Headsets
- Hubs
- Bottom brackets
- Hydraulic brake maintenance and bleeding
- Wheel truing
What to bring: your bike, some snacks, a readiness to learn!
