Bike Maintenance Clinic with Viva Bikes Austin!

Calling all cyclists of all ages!

Join Viva Bikes Austin for a free bike maintenance clinic at your local library! This interactive and informative session will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to tackle common bike problems. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about taking care of your wheels!

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a brand new rider, this clinic is perfect for anyone who wants to learn the basics of taking care of your bike. Bring your bike and all your questions – we're here to help you get rolling!

This clinic will cover:

• Fixing a flat tire 
• Simple repairs such as gear and brake adjustments 
• Maintaining your chain 
• Basic bike safety checks

• Support your local library by attending a program offered in partnership with Viva Bikes Austin!

Open to all ages however, activities are best suited for ages 7 and up. Attendees are encouraged to bring their bikes for a quick assessment and simple adjustments and repairs.

Bike Mechanics will assist on a first come, first served basis. Please sign up online so we know what issues to expect with your bicycle. If you have replacement parts for your bike, please remember to bring them with you. Please RSVP if you plan to bring your bike as space and time is limited.

A little more info about us:

Viva Bikes Austin! is a father and daughter summer project that grew big! We were inspired to start 100BikesForKids (non profit project) by seeing kids riding bikes in our neighborhood. While many kids have bikes already, there are many more that still do not, and do not have a way to get one. We decided to try to change that! As we grew we became an official 501c3 Non Profit Organization with a new name Viva Bikes Austin! Our hope is to continue to spread the love of bikes and provide bikes and education to those in need.
