Bikespace Pop UP
Event description
Mobile Bikespace will be on Kelburn Campus, at the Tim Beaglehole Courtyard (just outside the Hub), on Wednesday the 21st of May as part of VUWSA sustainability week. Mobile Bikespace are the on-the-go version of the Wellington City Council's initiative Bikespace.
They will be on campus running a 45 minute workshop, showing how you can carry out simple fixes on your bike, instead of paying someone $100s to do what you could do in less than an hour with no cost. They will be sticking around for a bit after the workshop offering guidance on specific issues. You don't need to bring your bike in for the workshop, but if you want help afterwards it would be good to have.
There is no cost to the workshop, but we would appreciate if you could "buy a ticket" so we know that there's enough interest in the workshop to make it worth the mechanics while.
