Settlement Services International and the Australian Computer Society warmly invite you to an evening networking event to launch Billion Dollar Benefit: Welcoming Tech Talent, an employer guide on recruiting and retaining skilled refugees and migrants.
 
Australia’s tech sector is booming, but is hampered by critical skills shortages. Yet there is a skilled, motivated, hardworking pool of untapped potential right here in Australia – tech talent from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Billions could be added to the economy if this talent pool was supported to work in their fields of expertise.
 
Join us for an engaging evening as we hear from ACS CEO Chris Vein and SSI CEO Violet Roumeliotis AM, as well as newcomer tech experts, about how harnessing untapped migrant and refugee tech talent is smart business and what employers can do to harness this talent pool.
