BINDU BREATH AWAKENING ~ Tantrik Breathwork Session
Event description
THE PRACTICE Â
We invite you to experience this powerful and liberating breathwork modality! We can’t wait to create an inclusive and nourishing space for you to express yourself freely as you explore the Bindu Breath Awakening journey. This method is unique as it combines traditional tantrik yoga principles with modern breathwork techniques. Â
Drawing on the energy body principles from Non-Dual Saiva Tantra, we will guide you through three key centers (called Bindu’s) using BREATH, SOUND and MOVEMENT. The practice is both embodied and transcendent, giving us an experience of being totally in and of the body, while also being more than the body. It is a holistic practice that aims to create a feeling of integration of these various layers of self. Â
UPPER BINDU ~ expanding consciousness and cultivating deeper presenceÂ
HEART BINDU ~ opening to emotional flow, connection and love Â
LOWER BINDU ~ embodying our physicality, surrendering into orgasmic bliss and sensual awakeningÂ
The invitation is to explore the Bindu’s to generate more aliveness, experience increased energy and a greater sense of self-awareness. Other benefits include releasing stored emotional blockages, completing stress cycles, awakening to your sensuality and reconnecting you with your innermost desires. Â
Participants share that they experience profound realizations, deep self-acceptance, unconditional love, ecstatic bliss, full body energy orgasms and other beautiful things in these sessions.Â
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORSÂ
Return Rituals is Lif and Ryan. We are relationship nerds who have been learning and playing in embodiment and spiritual spaces for 15 + years. We decided to become breathwork facilitators to share some of the yummy, profound, and sexy experiences we have discovered along the way. Between us, we have experience as facilitators and practitioners of Yoga teaching, Shibari, Psychological sciences, NLP, Community Menswork spaces, Theatre making, Tantra and Sacred Sexuality spaces.Â
WHAT TO EXPECTÂ
The session includes ~Â
- Conscious connected breathing (also called active breath or ‘high ventilation breath’)Â
- Sounding and movement as you breatheÂ
- Breath holdsÂ
- MeditationÂ
- RelaxationÂ
- Nourishing tea and snacksÂ
*Nervous system considerations mean there are no extended periods of high intensity breathing in these sessions. There are 3Â active breathing periods, broken up with breath holds and meditation. Participants are supported to calibrate to their own personal tolerance levels. However, it is a dynamic practice that can incur side effects such as tingling, light headedness, muscle cramps and strong emotions. The sessions also include loud music, somatic sounding, emotional release and self-cultivated sensual energy.Â
