Bingo with a Twist: Connecting Across Generations
Description
Bingo with a Twist: Connecting Across Generations
A relaxed intergenerational afternoon tea where older adults, whānau, children and community members come together through a fun bingo-style activity.
Each number becomes a prompt for sharing stories, memories and conversation, helping people connect across ages in an easy, welcoming way. It’s less about winning and more about sharing laughs, listening to one another and enjoying time together.
This free event is part of the Golden Festival / International Day of Older Persons programme and is hosted by Generations Connect New Zealand.
Who can attend:
Older adults, whānau, children, young people and community members are all welcome.
RSVPs:
Please select one RSVP ticket for each person attending, including children, so we can plan seating and afternoon tea.
Places are limited, so please RSVP to help us plan seating, afternoon tea and accessibility support. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP or contact us so we can offer your place to someone on the waitlist.
Accessibility:
This is a seated, low-pressure event. The venue has accessible toilets and space for mobility aids inside the room. Entry access may require support for some attendees, so if you have mobility or access needs, please let us know when you RSVP so we can support your arrival and seating where possible.
Afternoon tea:
Light afternoon tea will be provided. We will do our best to include common dietary options but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
