Here's what we're talking about this month:

Where are you at for the year and what do you need to help you and your business? Join us for our Business Connection and Networking event. A fun helpful twist on networking...one where everyone walks away with access to the collective's knowlede and connections.

A night of connection which offers entrepreneurs and business professionals a relaxed 'dinner party at your friend's house' vibe to exchange expertise and seek the help you need to grow your business.

What exactly is this and why you should attend

We wanted to create something where everyone will be able to share their offerings and ask for the help they need. Not just rely on the handful of people you were lucky enough to talk to
Sharing your skills, expertise and how you can help other businesses - your 'thing' might be a straight up business offering or perhaps you'll find you know someone who can help someone else and pay it forward!
It's a FUN relaxed no pressure approach to speed networking - meet lots of people without the ick hard edge of traditional networking
You get access to a brains trust of BIO Australia members and guests

Why it's different

This is about 'how can I help' first which makes for an easier conversation - especially if you think networking 'is not your thing'
This is about authentic connections, helping and supporting each other vs traditional networking events can feel intimidating, full on and lacking authentic connection
you get a list of what each attendee offers and needs so you have exponential ways to give and grow

Who should attend

Anyone in business and wanting to grow! Sole traders, start ups, scale ups, SMEs, corporates
Curious, growth mindset people in business looking to expand their networks and connect with other business people

There'll be time for socialising over drinks and nibbles, then BIO Founder Jon Sermon and co-host Miriam Wood will kick things off with some intros before we get underway. Don't miss this opportunity to expand your network in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere. Secure your spot today and be part of an evening where connections are made, and ideas flow freely.

Some helpful event details:

🌟 A little more...
From the people you meet to the nibbles you nibble, at BIO we’re big into the little details. We are fanatical about all the facets that come together to make a brilliant meet up, because if you feel at home - you’re more likely to be yourself.

🤔 What does this mean?

- Be yourself, you’re you - not your Company
- Keep the chat interesting
- We don’t use name tags, because, well… just ask!

We can't wait to see you there.

A little more about BIO:

Here at BIO, we do networking a little differently.

You don't have to own your own business (but it’s cool if you do) or be an entrepreneur, you just need to be open to meeting new people, listening to their tales, connecting differently and sharing ideas.

We’re not leeches… so our members are not about sucking the business (or life) out of you. We work together to help our members solve problems, build their businesses, further their careers or develop themselves. We give people a platform to tell their story and make valuable connections.

We hold monthly events for our members, and if you would like to come along - meet new people and give us a whirl then come along and join us to see what all the fuss is about.

Talking’s great, but sometimes so is listening.

To make sure each BIO event is interesting, we introduce you to our host for the night. This person will take us on a journey throughout the meet-up and talk briefly on a trending subject that sparks interest. From wine-makers to corporate giants we’ve cherry picked topics that are relevant to all businesses - from retaining your talent to the ever looming robots and AI tech, there’s a little something for everyone.

Our Sponsors

A huge thank you to our event sponsor Tsingtao!

If it's a cold one (or two) you're after, Tsingtao have you covered. Crafted using malted barley, hops, yeast & pure mountain water, this crisp refreshing beer is a perfect match for the evening.

Cheers & a massive thanks to our event partner!
