Bio-Space-Horse

Burning Horse, Biophilia & Wellspace are teaming up to birth an enriching and transformative experience - Bio-Space-Horse: Cosmic Wanderer.

This full day event will be held on the banks of the Kawarau River at the beautiful Wellspace venue 5 mins out of Queenstown. Retaining the core values and features of each venture, Bio-Space-Horse will host a class lineup of workshops, talks, art and music. Featuring 2 stages, 2 saunas and a community that we're all stoked to be a part of.

The main stage will be a vessel for a deep and nourishing journey through a series of embodiment practices following a structured flow. Equipped full surround sound to create an immersive, protected and amplified arena. Another zone, The Grove, will provide a more fluid and laid back collection of music and dance offerings. With ample space for drop in sessions and an open mic for the people to share to the people.

Bio-Space-Horse is a promotional event and a showcase for Burning Horse 2023. We bring this event to you with joy, excitement and a sense of light heartedness, as is represented in the name ;) . We gather to grow and enjoy our time together as human beings living our life.

The event is designed as a collective transformational experience. We encourage if possible for you to arrive at the beginning so we can travel through the day together.

A full release of the schedule will be coming in the lead up. The general structure will be:

9am - Gates open welcoming arrival
10am - 12pm - Welcome | Embodied practices
1230pm - 130pm - Communal feast - potluck lunch 
1 - 2pm - Performances 
2 - 3pm - Yoga
3pm-4pm - Mantra Band
4pm - 7pm - Free flow Galactic Ecstatic Dance
7pm - 10pm - DJ’s, Dancing, Connection, Conversations, Celebration

Saunas running throughout the day.

Please Bring:

- Day bag with;
- X2 towels (x1 to sweat on is required to enter the sauna, x1 to dry yourself with)
- A water bottle (stay hydrated!)
- A plate of food for the potluck (Note: That there are no food vendors on site. Please bring additional food to keep you fuelled throughout the day. Cold food storage is available on site.)
- BYO Drinks and snacks.
- Yoga mat
- Sun protection
- Warm clothes
- Identification for ticket verification
- Festive Dress-up! (Cosmic Wanderer)

We have a NO DOG policy so please leave them at home.

Intoxication isn't the vibe, keep it grounded team. You may be asked to leave if you display gross behaviour.
If you look to be under the age of 25, you will be asked for ID so please bring it along.
You will not be aloud into the sauna if you are drunk.

If you are going to use the river, enter at your own risk. PLEASE watch for boats.
Note: That switching from hot to cold may cause dizziness. If you have a heart, blood pressure or diabetic conditions to please consult a doctor first before entering the sauna. 

Please pre-arrange transportation from the venue for 10pm.
