Stage 6 BIOLOGY - What's New in the New Syllabus (24/11 PARRAMATTA)

This in-person face-to-face workshop will best prepare teachers for what's new in the new Stage 6 Biology syllabus.  

In this workshop, teachers will unpack the new Year 11 and Year 12 syllabus to:

• learn the new course structure requirements

• learn the new assessment and reporting requirements

• learn the new practical depth studies requirements

• identify similar content with the outgoing syllabus

• learn the new content

• learn the new experiments

• identify Year 11 content important for Year 12

In particular, we will unpack the biology behind the new content.

All teachers will walk away with a variety of resources to assist their students in the classroom.

Luke Colella is a passionate HSC Biology teacher with 15 years of classroom experience and extensive experience as both an HSC Biology Marker and Pilot Marker. He runs the HSC Biology Podcast and has presented for multiple education companies, supporting teachers and students with practical strategies for success in HSC Biology.
