Biodanza Weekend Workshop - The Sacred Dance of Yin & Yang
Event description
The Sacred Dance of Yin & Yang
Organic creation, vitality and abundance of living
This weekend, we will explore the dual aspects of a single reality: the fundamental force of life.
Viewed by the creator of Biodanza, the Yang energy has the attributes of courage, security and confidence in oneself, of increasing the ability for action and the capacity of realising goals.
The Yin energy is characterised by attributes of receptivity, intimacy, sensitivity, intuition, imagination and capacity for gestation.
These two fundamental principles engage in a harmonious interplay, mutually influencing one another, participating in the dance of life.
Yang Dances, which are vital, coming from a healthy instinctive impulse, help reconnecting the full expression of our strength by alleviating the repression often done on it.
Yin dances, which are softer, deeper, help slowing down and developing a greater sensitivity to life. They induce a state of profound harmony and reduce anxiety and restlessness.
The weekend's theme holds great relevance for our daily lives as a healthy and harmonious vitality gained by harmonising these forces support us when navigating the waves of life.
What is Biodanza?
A dancing path to new ways of living and relating.
Supported by dance, music and chosen interactions in the group, Biodanza can help improving the quality of your life by enhancing your ability to be fully present to yourselves, by welcoming self-love, intimacy, transcendence and fulfilling relationships in a nurturing environment.
