Create a Wildlife-Friendly Garden

Join Registered Landscape Architect Eleanor Hughes from Mission Possible, Nat Giffney from Green Adelaide, and other local gardening and sustainability enthusiasts from the Mission Possible Community Group to discover practical, easy-to-apply ways to create a beautiful, resilient garden that supports native biodiversity.

You’ll learn how to attract and protect native pollinators and other wildlife, including native bees, butterflies, beetles and birds, while choosing plants and gardening practices suited to your local conditions.

Topics will include:

• Why biodiversity matters in our urban gardens

• Creating habitat for native pollinators and beneficial insects

• Choosing local native plants to provide food and shelter throughout the year

• Water-wise gardening for a changing climate

• Reducing pesticide use and encouraging natural pest control

• Simple ways to make your garden more wildlife-friendly

Whether you have a large backyard, a small courtyard or a balcony, you’ll leave with practical ideas and inspiration to create a healthier, more vibrant outdoor space that benefits both people and nature.
