Biodiversity Spotting🔍 with PEC

Event description

Looking to enjoy the warm spring days outdoors while exploring our coastal backyards?

The Port Environment Centre with your local Dunes groups, invites you to take part in the Great Southern Bioblitz at two of our beaches here in South Australia. These dunes are home to incredible wildlife and plants, and in spring they all come to life!

You can be a citizen scientist by photographing and documenting them for the scientific community!

You have TWO OPTIONS and can join us at either ONE, or even BOTH locations on 23rd September!
**Meeting Point 1** at 8:30 am: Northern end of Taperoo Dunes Car Park, Lady Gowrie Drive, Taperoo.
**Meeting Point 2** at 9:30 am: Semaphore, at the shelter shed by Semaphore Jetty.

You’ll also have the chance to learn about the amazing volunteer groups at Taperoo Dunes and Semaphore Largs Dunes.

Help us put these beautiful areas on the map as part of this global celebration of nature!
