Biodiversity Walking Tour in Pakapakanthi (Park 16)

The City of Adelaide's Biodiversity Team will take you on a guided tour of one of the most unique parts of the city including the remnant grassland in Pakapakanthi (Park 16), the newly built wetland and the 2021 cultural burn site, Tuthangga. Participants will get an inside look at how these sites are managed, their history and learn about significant fauna and flora of the area. With any luck we will spot the rare chequered-Copper Butterfly commonly seen these sites and learn about its relationship with the ants and local food source.
