Biodynamic Responses to the Climate Crisis - Agricultural, Social and Planetary Healing

The Adelaide Hills Biodynamic (BD) Group is hosting international guest speaker Ueli Hurter, for this one-off talk/presentation addressing how we can address and work towards solutions to the climate change challenges.

The talk will differ from the field day in that Ueli will focus on "The Three Soils" introduced by Ueli in the video below. He will touch on some of the themes of the field day, held earlier in the day, but will deepen and expand on those themes. 

The talk may also include:

  • - BD working with soil, soul and social forces
  • - The dynamic interface of BD, permaculture and regenerative agriculture
  • - Making BD nutrient dense food affordable

Bio

Ueli Hurter is the head of the Biodynamic Agriculture Faculty at the Goetheanum in Switzerland. He is a board member of the Biodynamic Federation Demeter International (BFDI). He is also on the board of Weleda AG, a leading biodynamic skincare and naturopathic medicine company.
He runs a certified biodynamic farm, Ferme de L'Aubier, in Switzerland which started as a dairy farm but has now diversified into cheese making, an eco-hotel, a restaurant and more. L'Aubier is an associatively organized corporation with direct financing.
Ueli Hurter lives near Neuchâtel in Switzerland with his wife and three children.
