Bio·R Winter Solstice Campout 2024

Join us for a casual campout to coincide with the 2024 winter solstice on Saturday, June 22.

This event will be low key and requires campers to be respectful, sensible and self-sufficient. Numbers will be limited to 40.

Please read and adhere to the following rules which have been implemented to ensure the safety of all campers.

• Camp site accommodates vehicles and tents - please be mindful of vehicle use around the site. 5km per hour limit.
• One communal camp fire for the site is permitted - firewood will be provided. NO personal fires are allowed.
• Some water will be provided - please BYO bottles and containers as required.
• No toilet facilities will be available overnight at the campsite - please bring toilet paper and a garden trowel, or be prepared to drive 10 minutes (9km) to the Callington public toilet.
• No food or drink facilities - please BYO dinner and breakfast.
• Cooking - you will be able to bring and use small fuel stoves if required. You can also cook at the communal fire.
• Please come completely self-sufficient - this includes food, torches, chairs, tent/camping setup, toilet paper and trowel.
• Please respect your fellow campers - with regard to noise levels, interactions and general behaviour so everyone can enjoy the peaceful starry night.
• Alcohol and drugs policy - this is a family-friendly site and if you decide to bring alcohol, we encourage you to use it responsibly. Please do not bring or consume any illicit substances at this campsite.
• Remove your rubbish - please be sure to collect all of your rubbish. Leave the site better than you found it!
