Join NPWS and bird expert Phil Barron for an hour in nature, walking through the beautiful Onkaparinga River Recreation Park, along the wetlands loop trail. Use all of your senses to discover a range of birds, other wildlife and native plants in a beautiful and accessible setting. Enhance your stronger senses to better enjoy the outdoors and appreciate the life in our surroundings.

Accessibility The trail surface is combination of hard packed gravel and boardwalk. This is a grade 2 trail so there are sections in which assistance may be required. For manual wheelchair users it is recommended to do the trail with a freewheel attached (if you have one) as this will make the trail easier to navigate.
