This training day is especially for our Birds on Farms volunteers, landholders, and supporters who want to build their confidence in identifying wetland birds. It’s a great opportunity to sharpen your skills with expert guidance, share experiences, and connect with others involved in the program.

If you’re interested in getting involved with Birds on Farms, you’re very welcome to join us too!

Please arrive at 8:45AM for a 9:00 start.

We will start the day at the Jerrabomberra Wetlands Offices

What’s involved:
• An introduction to the birds of Jerrabomberra Wetlands and their behaviour
• Guided, hands-on bird ID practice in the field
• Practical tips to help with surveys and monitoring
• Morning tea provided

Please bring binoculars if you have them, weather-appropriate clothing, and any bird guides or notes you like to use.
