Aussie Bird Count at yaluk barring park (formally Sydenham Park)
Event description
Join us for a fun and informative bird surveying experience at yaluk barring (formerly Sydenham) park as part of the Aussie Bird Count 2025. Whether you're a seasoned bird watcher or a beginner, this event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with nature, learn about local species, and contribute valuable data to this national biodiversity initiative.
Our team of experts will guide you through the park’s spectacular valley, helping you spot a variety of native bird species that call the area home. Participants will record their sightings using the Aussie Bird Count App - there’s a built-in “bird finder” tool to help you identify birds you’re unsure of. It’s a great way to get outdoors, engage with the community, and help make a real difference in conservation efforts.
