Bird Talk & Beach Walk – Meet the Beach-Nesting Birds of Goolwa

Did you know that we have 5 species of beach-nesting birds on our coastlines? The Hooded Plover, Red-capped Plover, Fairy Tern, and Sooty and Pied Oystercatcher. All of these beach nesters lay their eggs directly on the sand or on rocky platforms along our coast. 

Come along and learn about the amazing lives of beach-nesting birds and how to get involved with protecting a threatened species on your local beach. Enjoy an exciting and interactive inside presentation and then we'll head outside to observe some of the birds who live on the beach.
