Bird walk for beginners

If you want to improve your bird identification skills and learn how to use binoculars properly, this is your perfect opportunity. 

Experienced birdwatchers will take you on a bird walk from the Greenfields Beach picnic area at Vincentia to see what birds you can find in the surrounding bushland. 

Head to the picnic area where we will introduce to your bird walk leader before you head off in small groups to see what birds you can find.

You will also be shown how to enter the birds you see into the Aussie Bird Count app, as part of BirdLife Australia’s annual Aussie Bird Count. Go to https://aussiebirdcount.org.au to download the app and give it a try.

Please bring afternoon tea with you to have afterwards during the 'bird call' of all the birds that everyone has seen! 

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU BRING A PAIR OF BINOCULARS WITH YOU!
