Event description
Join us for an engaging talk by Talitha Huston about her book, "Birds of the Perth Hills." Talitha, inspired by her passion for the natural beauty of the Perth Hills, native birdlife, and photography, has crafted a unique guide to the local species. Her talk will include a video she has produced showcasing local birds.
Talitha created this book out of frustration with traditional bird reference books, which are often large, difficult to navigate, and not specific to the area. Her goal was to develop a user-friendly guide that helps people easily identify and enjoy local birds."Birds of the Perth Hills" is not just an identification and information guide for 47 bird species; it also features Talitha's own "Skittish Rating" and tips for photographing each bird in the book.
Copies of Talitha’s book will be available for purchase during the event.
Bookings are essential.
