This training day is especially for our Birds on Farms volunteer and landholder participants who want to build their confidence in identifying local honeyeaters. It’s a great opportunity to sharpen your skills with expert guidance, share experiences, and connect with others involved in the program.

Please arrive at 8:45AM for a 9:00 start.

We will start the day at the Collector Memorial Hall

What’s involved:
• An introduction to the Honeyeaters of the region
• Guided, hands-on bird ID practice in the field
• Practical tips to help with surveys and monitoring
• Morning tea provided

Please bring binoculars if you have them, weather-appropriate clothing, and any bird guides or notes you like to use.
