Abbotsford Convent presents two Cultural Walks by Wurundjeri educators, sharing their extensive knowledge of land, history and ecology.
The walks follow Birrarung, ‘River of Mists and Shadows’ (Yarra River), moving through place to reflect on the relationship between past and present histories.
Book in for the Dights Falls Walk with Thane Garvey-Gannaway and Aboriginal Educator, Tully Gibbon, on Thursday 23 May 10am - 12pm. Meet at the Convent's Main Gate.
And on Friday 24 May, Wurundjeri Elder Uncle Bill Nicholson Jnr hosts a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Dights Falls walk, commencing 9.30am - 12pm. Meet at the Convent's Main Gate.
