Natural Beginnings offers a range of birthing classes to accommodate all your needs.

Compassionate Birthing and Intuitive Birthing are two birth preparation programmes that helps you and your partner feel prepared for your labour and birth, however it unfolds.

What you will get from Compassionate Birthing (8hrs) and Intuitive Birthing (15+hrs):

- You will learn how mindfulness & relaxation are key to an easier labour and dealing with the twists and turns of labour.
- You will feel more confident coping with pain after learning specialized breathing techniques for all stages of labour.
- You will know how & why it is important to boost oxytocin, the main hormone that drives labour.
- We will show you positional techniques that can help during pregnancy and labour.
- We will assist you with creating your birth wish list and how you can advocate for this.
- You will feel more prepared for postpartum

Intuitive Birthing (15hrs+) is a Full Hypnobirthing and more comprehensive course and in addition to the above you will:

- Explore all the above in greater depth and learn more techniques.

- Learn to use self hypnosis to give yourself the best chance of the birth that you want

- Discover how to better support each other emotionally through birth and beyond with connective communication tools.

- Have access to 3hours + of recorded guided visualisations, scripts and affirmations that support your birth preparations

- Be given the Marie Mongan Hypnobirthing book

Above all, after both courses, you will look forward to labour and birth feeling like a team that's able to cope with anything.

Compassionate Birthing is a 1 day course (6hrs) with the additional 2 hr zoom practice labour.

Sunday May29th 9.30 - 12.30pm & 4 - 7pm
Sunday August 21st 9.30 - 12.30pm & 4 - 7pm
Sunday October 30th 9.30 - 4.30pm *Please note - this has changed from a split session to a full day

Energy Exchange: $250 - $350 per couple * $150 of this price is a non-refundable deposit

Intuitive Birthing is a 2 day course (10.5hrs) with the additional 2 hr zoom practice labour.

Dates:

July 16th/ 17th: Sat 16th 3.30-7pm & Sun 17th 9.30-1pm & 4-7.30pm

September 17th/ 18th: Sat 17th 3.30-7pm & Sun 18th 9.30-1pm & 4-7.30pm

November 26th/ 27th: Sat 26th 3.30-7pm & Sun 27th 9.30-1pm & 4-7.30pm

Energy Exchange $450 - $550 per couple * $150 of this price is a non-refundable deposit

Both courses include a 2 hr live zoom session that guides you through a "practice labour”, in the realistic setting of your home. This enables you to refresh all the tools and techniques that you have learnt near due time (36ish weeks). Meaning that you can attend the courses at any stage of pregnancy, knowing that you will have a chance to be reminded of all the practical tools and
techniques close to your baby's due time.

Zoom sessions are scheduled for the 1st Saturday of every month 4-6pm.
These are best to attend as close to 'full term' as possible (37 weeks). You can attend as many as you like!
