Birthing Together: Celebrating Midwifery Care

Join us for a one-day conference dedicated to celebrating and strengthening midwifery care on the Sunshine Coast as part of the International Day of the Midwife. This event brings together midwives from public and private hospitals, along with those working in private practice, midwifery students, and consumers for a day of inspiration, education, and connection.

With insightful speakers, engaging discussions, and a focus on local midwifery excellence, this conference is an opportunity to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and honour the vital role of midwives in our community.

Submit an Abstract! Open to students, researchers, clinicians and consumers with an interest in maternity care and midwifery.

Important information:

• Registrations open at 8.30am for a 9am start

• CPD hours: 6

• Please note this event is not catered, however there are a number of cafes and food outlets on site, and you will have plenty of time to grab a cuppa and some lunch and socialise.
