Event description

The funeral arrangements for Most Rev Kevin Manning DD, Bishop Emeritus of Parramatta, are:

  1. Reception of the Body and Vespers of the Dead followed by the Rosary on Thursday 1 August at 6 pm at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta (1 Marist Place, Parramatta).
  2. Solemn Pontifical Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 2 August at 11am at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta. Following Mass, refreshments will be served in the Cloister Hall.
  3. Memorial Mass and interment at Coolah, NSW on Monday 5 August.

Seating in St Patrick’s Cathedral is limited. It is on a first come first serve basis. Please RSVP to register your interest.

Parking will be available on the Cathedral grounds (free) and surrounding streets (at a cost).

If you are unable to attend in person, the Vigil and Mass will be livestreamed on the Diocese of Parramatta’s YouTube channel.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bishop Manning.
