Black Cockatoo Crisis film & Big Carnabys sculpture fundraiser
Event description
Time is running out for Western Australia's 3 iconic black cockatoo species – Carnabys, Baudins and Red-Tails. Black Cockatoo Crisis, an internationally award winning film by Jane Hammond, is making its mark across WA showing at cinemas and town halls to raise awareness of these endangered birds. Moora will have a screening Saturday 18th March at the Moora Performing Arts Centre organised by the Kerkhoff Carnaby Group as a fundraiser for the Moora Big Carnabys sculpture project. Good news ! We 100% of the funding to build the sculpture but need additional funds for signage next to the sculpture (estimate $20,000). Ticket sales will go towards signage costs. Thanks
