You have First Nations artists on the gallery wall, but who is printing the program? Increasing Indigenous participation in your supply chain is a meaningful way to also increase your social impact in 2026.

On Tuesday 24 February 2026, QPAC will be hosting a very special Black Coffee event. The first procurement Black Coffee for 2026 will focus on arts and cultural precincts in South East Queensland. It will be a morning of networking and connection, building meaningful relationships.
We’ve asked the sector, and this event particularly calls for Indigenous businesses in the following areas -

- What is Black Coffee Indigenous Business Networking?
Well into its 11th year, Black Coffee Indigenous Business Networking started in Queensland but has a presence across Australia. It is an opportunity for Indigenous business owners to get together in their regions to network and share experiences. In addition to the free, local, and cafe-based meet-ups, there are periodically procurement Black Coffee events structured around specific sectors or industries. Black Coffee is volunteer-led around Australia and is driven by IM Social Impact Agency. You can read more about Black Coffee on the website - www.blackcoffee.net.au, and find us on the socials.
- I'm an Indigenous business is the target sector, what do I need to do next?
Great! We can't wait to meet you. Each registered Indigenous business will have their own table (a very small bar stand table), please bring your flyers and be ready to talk about how deadly you are! Please "purchase" 1 ticket for your table and No Table for all subsequent tickets if you're bringing a few members of your team.
- I'm from an arts/cultural organisation. We don't have any contracts available to bid for, should I still attend?
Absolutely. Even if you don't have any work available, there is still value in meeting Indigenous businesses from South East Queensland, in case there are future opportunities you may have. Bring your contact details and maybe create a small flyer or checklist about the types of businesses you buy from and how you go to market (open or closed tenders for example). Are there any sectors we've not identified in target list that you would like to reach? Please let us know.
- We have multiple sections in our organisation, is it okay to buy more than one ticket?
Yes! We encourage teams from across your organisation to attend, network and connect.
