Black History Month Community Circle: Stories of Being Black in America

In honor of Black History Month 2026, we are hosting an event that values the lived experiences of Black Americans. Our panel consists of 5-10 members who will share views on identity, how they navigate the world, and what it means to be Black.

The conversation will be guided by two moderators who are also persons of color, creating a space held with cultural awareness, care, and respect. The moderators will invite the panelists into dialogue through thoughtful questions that allow their stories and perspectives to unfold in their own words.

After the moderated conversation, we will open the space for a gentle Q&A and community discussion, offering all attendees an opportunity to listen deeply, ask respectful questions, and engage in meaningful reflection.

Our intention is not debate, but presence — a space where Black voices are centered and honored, and where non‑Black participants can learn through humility, curiosity, and shared humanity.

This gathering is part of our ongoing commitment to building community through storytelling, connection, and mutual respect. All are welcome to attend, listen, and reflect.
