Event description

Free community screening of Black Hole

6:00PM for a 6:30PM start

Black Hole is a feature documentary about the inspiring blockade in Northern NSW of the Maules Creek coal mine and the destruction of sacred burial sites by Whitehaven Coal. It is a whirlwind story of corporate spies, police misconduct, the destruction of sacred Indigenous land and a brave community resisting it.

Come along to this screening to meet other Adelaide locals passionate about climate justice, talk about the documentary and be inspired.

Bring a friend and a thought to share!

This event is taking place on stolen Kaurna land. It always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

"Black Hole is one of the most important Australian documentaries produced in the last 34 years in this country. It covers environmental activism like no other film and covers one of our biggest challenges to Climate change; the export of coal.
