    Porch Records brings to you:

Black Milk has been creating music professionally since he was a teen, co-producing for Detroit’s beloved Slum Village as well as crafting his own works as a producer and rapper; 15+ years later, he’s still going strong. Each step of the way, Black has pushed sonic boundaries — starting his career with a classic soul-sampled sound and evolving it into an opus of live instrumentation, chopped and re-worked into an original amalgamation of funk, soul, jazz, psych rock, gospel, electronic and hip-hop. One thing about Black is for sure — you never know what to expect from his next musical offering. Black’s new album, Everybody Good?, is true to his legacy of pushing boundaries and creating a truly unique work of art.

“This album is me searching for a sound I deem original, original to me. It’s the beginning of a new era of artistry for me, what it sounds like to create from a place of total freedom – freedom from boxes, opinions, fear.” - Black Milk

Everybody Good? features a legendary roster of greats, including Raphael Saadiq who produced “No Wish” featuring Phonte, and fellow Detroit producer Karriem Riggins who co-produced the instrumental track “Fews & Trues” along with Black. Everybody Good? is streaming now and available for purchase on Bandcamp

A phenomonal evening of music, wine, vinyl and niceness at our creative home and record store, Summertown Studio.
A warehouse nestled in the industrial zone of Somerton Park 20 minutes from Adelaide CBD, and 4 minutes from the beach.

By day, it operates as a creative space, complete with a coffee bar, retail space, record store and home to creative tenants. By night, the space is completely transformed into a live music venue, for curated touring shows. We bring in all production & operators for each individual shows, and it's truly something special.

This will truly be something magic.

    Yours in music,
