Event description

Myrtleford Neighbourhood Centre and Kintsugi Heroes are proud to launch the Alpine Bushfire Recovery Stories Book based on the Kintsugi Heroes: Alpine Series podcasts.

The 2019/2020 Black Summer fires in Victoria and across Australia were devastating for the individuals who lived in and around the area.

Now available in book form, these very personal stories and experiences of people directly and indirectly impacted by the fires, highlight the supportive role of the community and how the simple act of storytelling can help heal.

Please join us to meet some of our inspiring Alpine Kintsugi Heroes from the book and share a BBQ dinner.

Cost: A $15 entrance fee will assist with catering, and you will receive a copy of the Alpine Bushfire Recover Stories book.

We look forward to see you there.
