Blackburn School of Art Show
Description
We are delighted to invite you to our annual Student Art Show, an inspiring exhibition celebrating the creativity, innovation, and hard work of our Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE) students.
Taking place on Wednesday 17 June from 6:00 – 8:00pm, this special evening offers visitors the opportunity to experience an exciting and diverse showcase of student work across a range of disciplines. The exhibition highlights the breadth of talent within our creative courses, with work that explores contemporary themes, personal expression, and technical skill.
On display will be a wide variety of outcomes from:
Fashion and Textiles – showcasing imaginative garments, fabric experimentation, and creative design processes
Photography – capturing compelling visual stories through both digital and traditional techniques
Graphic Design – bold and innovative visual communication, branding, and digital media work
Art and Design – a broad collection of fine art pieces exploring drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
FAD (Foundation Art) – exploratory and experimental work demonstrating the development of creative practice
Games Art – character design, concept art, and digital environments brought to life through cutting-edge techniques
This exhibition is more than a display—it’s a celebration of student journeys, ideas, and achievements. Visitors will have the chance to engage with the work, meet the artists, and gain insight into the creative processes behind each piece.
Whether you are a prospective student, a supporter of the arts, or simply looking for an inspiring evening out, we warmly welcome you to join us in celebrating the next generation of creative talent.
