Black Head Bazaar & Hallidays Pt with Port Bus.

Tour Summary:

Black Head Bazaar is a community market operating on the first Sunday of each month, from September to May only.

The Bazaar attracts a good mix of stalls selling arts and crafts, flowers, bric-a-brac, clothes, fruit and veg, home-cooked preserves, jams, pickles, cakes, biscuits, chocolates, and gingerbread. It is especially renowned for its large number of plant stalls ranging from specialised palm sales to tube stock and local native plants.

The coastal area of Hallidays Point is located Midway between Taree and Forster and includes Black Head, Diamond Beach, Red Head, and Tallwood’s Village.

Black Head Beach is a multi-award-winning beach under the Keep Australia Beautiful Program. Patrolled during summer, it is regarded as one of the best swimming beaches in the Manning Valley. It features shady Norfolk Island Pines (planted in the 1920s and the 1940s), an ocean pool, excellent fishing opportunities, picnic areas, and barbecues.

Itinerary: Departing the Coach Terminal by 08:00 we commence our travels South. Enjoy a couple of hours of browsing before we head out to Hallidays Point. I returned late afternoon after some retail therapy and a yummy lunch in a beautiful location.
