Welcome to INVASION — a celebration of diversity and liberation where seemingly regular places will be invaded by a delicious perfume of queerness! As the night unfolds, you'll experience a world where gender, beauty, and sexuality are fluid, unapologetic, and untamed.

Step into the unknown as creatures of the night. Challenge traditional norms and conventions. By the end of the night, the invasion will be complete: what was once a taboo becomes the new normal, and you'll find yourself embracing the extraordinary side of yourself you never knew existed. Genders will be celebrated, expectations shattered, and queerness will reign supreme.

This is your invitation to immerse in pure fun, freedom, and self-expression. Come for the music, the energy, the people—and leave transformed. The revolution is here.

Drag Artists, SPX Creatives, makeup artists, passionate babes who have a taste for dressing up and want to push their talents to the limit: EVERYONE is welcome to submit an application!

• Complete our registration form here.
• Deadline: Wednesday 30 October unless prior selection is completed.
• We will assess all the applications received. If your application is successful, we will be in touch with the details of the event. 
• Free photoshoot with Dasha Photography NZ. Slay and embrace your inner monster and get a professional picture taken by our photographer Dash during the night.
• After the event, our audience will vote via Instagram for the best Monster, instructions will be announced in the post.

• Have you ever wondered what Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and other Ghostfaces would fit in a kinky event? Or what Christian Grey would wear at a Halloween event? Well probably not but now is the time to think about it!
• We encourage you to come and embrace kinky outfits in a Halloween context. Get kinky, get bloody, get horrific (but still sexy).  
• If you don't have such attire to wear but still want to come, a pure black outfit is permissible. Strictly no street/casual clothing though.

Blackout has a zero-tolerance policy for sexism, ageism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, and any form of hatefulness. Attendees engaging in such behaviour will be promptly addressed by event staff, and appropriate actions will be taken. Decadent Angels will be present in the venue all night if you need any assistant or report any violations of the code of conduct. Please follow our code of conduct.
