BLAEK x CandleXchange - Community Candlemaking Workshop
Event description
Join us at BLAEK Store for a community craft night and learn how to make your very own candle with local candle queens CandleXchange hosted by their cofounder, Hayley Clarke.
In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to create your own eco-friendly candles using natural ingredients and reusable materials. By learning to make your own soy wax candles and reusing glass containers, you can reduce your environmental impact while creating beautiful and fragrant candles for your home or to give as gifts.
Whether you're a seasoned crafter or simply looking to live more sustainably, this workshop is a great way to learn new skills and connect with other people.
In this session, you will make two candles, one of which you will take home for yourself (pick up the next day once its set) and the second will be donated to survivors of domestic violence to light up their new home.
Once you finish using your candle at home, you can swap it with BLAEK Store for a new candle 30% cheaper.
