Event description

Backyard Picnic is returning in 2024 for its third edition as BlakYard Picnic on Saturday April 20. 

Featuring an all First Nation line-up of artists, BlakYard Picnic promises a full day of live music, dance, creative cultural workshops, and classic festival eats for all to enjoy.  

This year’s musical line-up includes (in alphabetical order): Emily Wurramara, Katie Aspel, Marlon, Myles Turner, Nimpala Rose, Sonz of Serpents, Stand Strong with Eskatology, plus more! 

Beyond the stage there’ll be hands-on cultural art workshops led by local artists plus plenty of market food stalls to grab a bite from. 

Acknowledging our traditional owners & showcasing First Nations artists has always been central to Carclew. 

Join us in celebrating First Nation culture with some of the most talented artists from across the country.
