Blank Canvas: artist-led class

Raise Up North Shore and Upper Harbour present Blank Canvas: an intergenerational art event for those to come along, paint, and share food together. Our event is designed for families with members from different generations to enjoy and connect over art. 

Bring your grandparents, your nieces and nephews, your mother or father! Raise Up is a Youth Development Program from the Y for young people aged 13-18 in the community, we organize events in the community and give young people experience in leadership, event planning, and building confidence. 

Art has the power to connect people together, regardless of age or life stage. Our event is for anyone over the age of 13+ to attend, it's free, and no previous art experience is even necessary. 

The class is led by Sue Mansor, an artist based on the North Shore with over 23 years of experience, whose inspiration comes from different cultures, diversity, and connection. Whatever your experience level or confidence, this art class is for everybody! 

Gold coin donation or koha on entry if you have the capacity. Lunch provided, choose from bagels with a variety of toppings, or gourmet hotdogs with all the fixings. Please advise on dietary restrictions.
