There are two components to the Blended Online MHFA Course:

A self-paced eLearning component (takes 5-7 hours to complete)

A 5 hour instructor-led component via Microsoft Teams

Registration includes eLearning + MHFA manual + post-workshop resources + certificate of accreditation

The training will cover:

Depression and anxiety, Psychosis and Substance use problems

Learn how to give support with:

Suicidal thoughts and behaviours, Panic attacks, Traumatic events, Psychosis, Severe effects from alcohol or other drug use and Aggressive behaviours.

Adults over 18 years

Upon completion of the training participants will have learnt how to:

Identify mental illness, Signs & symptoms, Types of mental health illnesses, Where to seek professional help, Understanding research to effectively manage people’s mental health, Dealing with crisis and Action plan.
