Blending Philanthropic Capital: Explore New PRI Resources and Connect with Change-Makers

This convening focuses on one central question:

How can Program-Related Investments (PRIs) be deployed more efficiently and effectively alongside traditional and impact capital?

Impact organizations often approach foundations or donor-advised funds (DAFs) seeking investment, only to be offered a grant (or nothing at all) because the foundation or DAF lacks the infrastructure and/or confidence to deploy PRIs. After seeing this scenario play out repeatedly, the steering committee hosting this event formed to solve it once and for all. Concerned that foundations and DAFs are missing out on the financial upside that traditional and impact capital are experiencing, this convening brings together funders and innovators to bridge that gap.

Format & Agenda:

This convening is designed as a primarily in-person experience, with interaction at the core of both program segments.

For those attending in person:

• The first 90 minutes (2:00–3:30 PM MT) feature dynamic panels and live Q&A, providing the chance to engage directly with speakers and peers.

• The second 90 minutes (3:30–5:00 PM MT) transitions to active participation, with “ask me anything” and "speed dating" sessions being considered alongside small-group workshopping and networking opportunities with invited experts. Attendees will interact deeply with both the content and the community.

• Once the formal program ends, we will shift to a networking happy hour with facilitated "hot topic" discussion tables hosted by Hopelab (5:00-6:00 PM MT).

• For those who want to keep the conversations and connections going, we will head to nearby food hall Golden Mill for dinner (buy your own; 6:00-7:30 PM MT).

• In-person attendance is limited to 90 participants, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

For those unable to attend in person:

• The first 90 minute of panel discussion will be available via view-only webinar. This webinar will not be designed to replicate the interactive experiences of the in-person convening. It is being offered for those who would otherwise not be able to attend at all.

• The interactive discussion, workshopping, and networking sessions are in-person only.

• We have ample webinar capacity.

• PRI Norms - Aggregating anonymized data and giving visibility into the findings from the 2026 “What’s Market?” Foundation PRI Survey.

• Risk Deep Dive - Airing perceived and actual risk in blended capital structures and challenging conventional assumptions.
