Learn basic knife skill and classic kitchen cuts, then prepare four dishes with your prepped ingredients. This is a hands-on class with lots of time to practice.

SYLLABUS
-Learn about different types of knives and how each is used.
-Find the right knife for you. Less is more.
-Learn how to hold a knife property.
-Learn to Dice, Chop, Julienne, Mince and Chiffonade with confidence and speed.
-Prepare 4 dishes with prepped ingredients
-Proper care for your knives

MENU
-Quick Caprese Salad
-White Bean and Seasonal Vegetable Hash with Pork Belly
-Seared Salmon with Fruit Salsa
-Julienned Salad with Herbed Dressing
-Root Vegetable Stew

WHAT TO EXPECT
-Class Time is two hours
-There is lots of participation so be prepared with comfortable shoes for lots of standing time.
-Please have hair pulled back
-Please let us know ahead of time of any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate
-Cutting Boards, Knives, Aprons, Cooking Pans and Utensils will be provided.
