Blizzards and Banter
Event description
Further Faster & Slowskinners invite you to attend Blizzards and Banter – an instore evening to learn more about snow safety and to mingle with other keen ski tourers (including split boarders :P)
We will have a couple of ski clips to get the evening started, a chat from Carter from the Cheeseman Snow Safety Team, and an introduction to SlowSkinners! SlowSkinners are a social group for embedding skills and techniques and meeting adventure buddies. PLUS, we will have some interactive sessions to help apply our existing knowledge and skills in snow safety.
We invite any level of ski tourer to join us– there will be lots of information and ideas for new and experienced alike to lap up. In addition, it is a great way to meet other ski tourers and ask questions about gear and techniques.
When: Tuesday, June 28th, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
Where: Further Faster, 57a Buchan St, Sydenham
Tickets: $15 from Humanitix. All money is to be donated to Apadtive Snowsports Canterbury.
