M16 Artspace is pleased to announce the opening of three new exhibitions. 

Opening Saturday 29 November, 6 - 8pm

Gallery 1 | M16 Artspace Drawing Prize 

The M16 Artspace Drawing Prize presents the works of 25 artists working at the forefront of contemporary art practice. Encompassing works across traditional media as well as innovative, experimental formats, the M16 Drawing Prize champions artists that challenge and extend understandings of what constitutes drawing in contemporary practices. 

 

Prize winners will be announced during the event, please join us to celebrate all of the finalists! 

Gallery 2 | The Hook 

Jackson Taylor & Litia Roko  

The Hook presents new works by Jackson Taylor and Litia Roko, recipients of the 2025 ANU Emerging Artists Support Scheme (E.A.S.S), generously supported by Narrabundah Family Medical Practice. 

 

Gallery 3 | Young Drawers Prize  

Celebrating the creativity of Australia’s next generations, we are thrilled to present the fourth ever M16 Artspace Young Drawers Prize. After a hiatus in 2024, the prize is back to shine a spotlight on the artistic brilliance of young artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and innovation in the realm of drawing. 

 

Prize winners will be announced during the event, please join us to celebrate all of the finalists! 

 

Exhibitions run from Sunday 30 November - Sunday 14 November 2025 
Gallery opening times: Wednesday to Sunday, 12 - 5pm.

Parking: M16 Artspace has free parking and dedicated disability parking spots outside the entrance. 

Wheelchair access: Ramp access at the entrance of M16, however this can be too narrow for some wheelchair users. If this proves to be the case the studio access entrance has no stairs and connects directly to the gallery, please contact us for more information! 

Bathrooms: We have one wheelchair access and gender-neutral bathroom behind the lobby in addition to two gendered bathrooms.
