Event description

A sweaty Bunuru and summer draws to a close but the good spirits and greater times do not. Friends gather to dance, drink and commune in a corner of the world belonging to the Whadjuk Noongar people - and what a joy it is to be doing so!

Block 2 Block - a double sized block party at The Bird and its adjoining car park presented by Crab Claw & Foolish.

This fortunate friendship between crews brings about an extendo expedition into unexplored  space. One doorway leads to another doorway which leads to another doorway which leads to a brand new dancefloor bristling with brand new energy from afternoon to eve. Two blocks become one, one courtyard becomes two and the good times keep on whirling on a Sunday night.

Doublé danza derby driven by:

➪ Nina BC

➪ Mr. Sinclair

➪ Tookie

➪ Sepsaay & Jxnior

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Crab Claw, Foolish and The Bird acknowledge the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the owners of the beautiful land on which we operate, live and party. Sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to their elders past, present & emerging and stand in solidarity with their ongoing resistance against colonisation.

Please keep an eye out for your friends and fellow dance associates - there’s a zero-tolerance policy for any anti-social and non-inclusive behavior. Reach out to the event staff, artists or a friend if you’re in need and help will be provided.
