𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝟭 | Position x Perspective = Perception
Benni Phillips-Nozdrachev
Phillips-Nozdrachev presents miniaturised, reconstructed worlds as large scale installations. The multidisciplinary works reflect time spent walking alone through forests in Finland, Germany and the Snowy Mountains over the past 11 years. By collecting and documenting physical, mental and spiritual materials, objects become past, present and future marks of time, translated by environmental consciousness into multidimensional habitats.
𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝟮 | Foundation Traces
Nick Offer
Nick Offer is a figurative painter whose practice has recently expanded to landscape. His approach to the subject reflects his figurative roots, exploring the traces of human histories that have shaped and scarred the land. His work has been swiftly recognised, winning first prize in The Doyles Landscape Award 2024 and was highly commended in The Lethbridge Landscape Award 2024.
𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝟯 | Bird Guides
Jorji Gardener
Bird Guides highlights ecological relationships and gives voice to our other-than-human kin, disrupting the anthropocentric view and connecting us with birds and their habitat. This exhibition bears witness to habitat and bird species loss fostering a renewed sense of caring for country. Through a post humanistic lens, the viewer is entangled in an immersive experience.
𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 Friday 4 October to Sunday 27 October 2024
