When and where is Bloom & Rest?
Sunday, November 1, from 3–5 PM at BLOCK 134, 134 Main Street, Putnam, CT.

What does the workshop include?
The experience includes a guided floral-arranging workshop with Ashley of Flower Therapy, refreshments, guided reflective journaling in community, and a restorative Yoga Nidra practice led by Summer of YOGASOL.

Are floral-arranging materials included?
Yes! All flowers and materials needed to create your arrangement will be provided.

Do I need to bring yoga equipment?
Yoga equipment will be available. You’re also welcome to bring your own mat, blankets, pillows, or anything else that will help you rest comfortably.

What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully during Yoga Nidra.

Do I need previous floral-arranging or yoga experience?
No experience is necessary. Both portions of the workshop will be fully guided and welcoming to beginners.

What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra—often called “yogic sleep”—is a guided meditation practiced while resting comfortably. It invites the body into deep relaxation while the mind remains gently aware.

Emerging research suggests that regular Yoga Nidra practice may support improved sleep quality, relaxation, stress reduction, cognitive processing, and memory. Because many studies have been small, these findings are promising but still developing. Yoga Nidra is intended as a supportive wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical or mental-health care.

Can I attend with a friend?
Absolutely! Bring a friend—or two. Bloom & Rest is designed to be a meaningful bonding experience and also makes a thoughtful gift of creativity, connection, and presence.

Is the venue accessible?
Please note that BLOCK 134 is located on the second floor and does not have an elevator. Guests will need to use the stairs to access the event space.

How much does registration cost?
Early Bird Registration is $65 until October 1. After that, registration is $75 per person.
